Although 3DT is best known for its carbon fiber hard-top biminis, we were excited when the captain of S/Y Blue Papillon approached us to design a new canvas bimini for one of Royal Huisman’s stunning yachts. The vessel already had a bimini covering a social area just aft of the deckhouse, but the captain requested a matching bimini for the owner’s cockpit, located just behind the helm stations.

​3DT took full responsibility for every aspect of the project, including styling, detailed design, and engineering. We also oversaw the complete construction and installation of the tubular frame, which was expertly executed by VC Metalwork of Mallorca.

The result was flawless.

The new bimini has seamlessly integrated into the yacht, enhancing the guests’ experience and complementing the original design, making it feel like it was always part of the plan.
