The attachment of the brush in pantograph arm systems, by the use of an adjustable flange this allows easy and precise alignment of the brush to the mast (in the rest position) regardless of the position in which the motor pins are.

The system of sprayers mounted directly on the brush holder stand allows water to drain directly onto the brush, avoiding water waste and improving the degree of cleanliness.

The wiper arms are available in several versions, ranging from the EGO series which is the flagship family in the catalog, to the other series each meeting the needs of shipyards or shipowners worldwide. All families are available in single arm or pantograph versions.

In systems using pantograph arms, both motor pivots are active.

Thus ensuring:

Better torque distribution,

Less wear and tear on the system,

Safer synchronisation of the operation of the two arm shafts.

The wiper blade is attached to the arm by an adjustable flange that allows easy and perfect alignment with the glass mounting.

The nozzles are incorporated on the wiper arm head.

Engineering

The Gallinea windscreen wipers are custom-designed for each vessel.

In collaboration with the Milan Polytechnic, Gallinea has developed a DQN protocol for system design.

All it takes is a few simple items of information to propose a custom design for any boat.

The design is carried out in 2D or 3D depending on the type of implant and information received. A ‘boat sheet’ is created for each implant, summarising all implant components and assembly instructions.

All Gallinea products, from the arm to the motor to the electronic control unit, are manufactured exclusively in Italy.

CONTROL
UNITS

Gallinea has designed a control unit with advanced electronic features:

    Guaranteed perfect synchronism of the motors

   Automatic execution of the washing function,

which involves spraying water for four seconds before the start of four cleaning strokes of the glass

    Managed power of the motors by means of PWM,

which allows acceleration curves to be managed during the operating phases of the motors; this translates into

smoother operation of the arm movement

Less inertia

Greater precision of the cleaned area

    it has an internal diagnostic part to ensure correct system service

    with a CAN output to interface with all on-board systems.
