The fans are the result of a careful understanding of the problems encountered in the marine industry. The range of units have been developed from the actual conditions of use, this is possible thanks to calculation tools and the use of a test bench.
All this allows us to offer our customers advice in order to optimize the ventilation of environments ranging from bathroom and kitchen areas to engine rooms.There are two ranges of fans: centrifugal scroll and axial fans for ventilation. A partnership with a qualified and recognized automotive manufacturer was born.
This type of fan has brought significant advantages in marine applications, with increased efficiency and weight reduction. In addition to the fans Gallinea also supplies the control units for them, managing the operating cycle, how many and when the fans start operating and their shutdown, all at the specific request of the customer

Gallinea fans are the result of a careful knowledge of the problems found out in nautical field. Each fan is developped starting from the effective use conditions. This is possible thanks to the use of a test banch where fans are tested. This permits us to offer our customers not only machines, but also expert advices to optimize engine room ventilation (for example calculation of charge loss in channels). So we have developped a range of machines with singular features:
structure in plastic material (PA66+30%FB ) developped expecially for marine field
maximal baldes’ efficiency
IP68 engine, continuous service, compact dimensions
low electrical consumption
low noise
extreme lightness, more or less 70 % lighter than traditional machine
Machines are available with flow motor (FMG) or flow motor impeller (FGM) according to customer requirements
CENTRIFUGAL
Centrifugal fans range represents an optimal alternative in case of ventilation for closed rooms (for example: bathrooms, kitchens, small engine rooms and so on…)
Standard execution blowers are provided with pressed and spot welded steel sheets casings, forwarded blades galvanized impellers and 2 or 4 poles in A.C. electrical motors, or 24 Vlt DC.
Transported fluids can reach maximum temperature of 80°C for standard execution; for special executions maximum values of 250°C are allowed.
On demand, special stainless steel executions are available.
Smoke Dampers
In the meantime we have developped also a range of flanges and shutters which permits a speedy installation on the boat. Gallinea smoke-dumper are designed to avoid smoke diffusion on the boat in case of fire.
They are available in stainless stell or alluminium. Control mode:
