In 2015, 3DT was commissioned by BM Composites in Mallorca to develop technical designs based on concept renders from Azure Yacht Design for a new jacuzzi and carbon fibre bimini onboard Lürssen’s 65m Polar Star.

​Collaborating closely with the build team at BM Composites, Azure, the yacht’s crew, and various subcontractors, 3DT delivered comprehensive 3D models for both the jacuzzi and bimini, ready for production.

The bimini design scope involved integration of all hardware, lighting, sliding roof panels, and producing detailed CNC tooling files.

​For the jacuzzi, the scope included a detailed surface model, precise pipe routing, connections, overflow grills, lighting, water jets, glass panels, and teak details, and prodcuing CNC tooling files.
