In 2014, M/Y Rising Sun arrived at Composite Works in La Ciotat for one of the most ambitious projects the yacht and shipyard had ever undertaken: the design, fabrication, and installation of a 3.5×9 meter carbon fibre swimming pool, complete with state-of-the-art filtration, filling/emptying, heating, and swim jet systems.

The pool was uniquely suspended within an existing deck viewing gallery, with the 40-tonne filled pool hanging from carbon fibre straps. Complementing the pool were new furniture extensions, featuring sun pads and storage lockers.

​3DT provided on-site design support throughout the entire project, creating detailed 3D models, construction drawings, and pipe routing. They also designed the layout for the complex pool systems, which were housed in a dedicated technical space below deck.
